Do true Buddhist practitioners need to live in isolation? - Teachings from "Buddhist Robes"

“Contrary to popular belief, Buddhist practitioners who learn the dhamma do not need to let go of their mundane lives and live in isolation.
The Buddha said, “ The Buddhadhamma is inseparable from mundane worldly laws.” Mundane worldly laws encompass all the things we do in our daily lives in all aspects, including our job, the way we manage things and live our lives.
The difference between disciples of the Buddha and mundane people is that Buddha’s disciples can differentiate what is right and wrong, are more willing to give, more tolerant and exercise more moral restraint. Therefore, we should be more resilient and steadfast, like a pillar in the middle of a stream, and be mindful of all our intentions and actions. By guiding the society to protect proper moral values, we help ourselves and others obtain true success and happiness. “
